Starbucks Coffee Company

My first time visiting this location on Saturday, 08/01 was not a great experience. The barista Brandon who took my order at the café POS was surprisingly rude. I ordered my 1 drink order and as I went to scan my app to pay, realized I didn't have enough on my Starbucks card. I asked him if he could help reload for me, which seemed to make him frustrated. He told me it was "redundant" because he had to punch the 1 drink order in again to reload the card first. He said I should've asked to reload before ordering the 1 drink order. I felt so unwelcomed by that experience, especially as a fellow Starbucks partner, but the other baristas were super nice and helpful when handing off my order and the drink tasted perfect. I ultimately decided to visit again for the next 2 days, and the other baristas who took my orders were amazingly friendly and helpful. One being a mobile pickup at the drive-thru Sunday morning and the other in-café Monday morning. Overall, still a good location with almost every barista being welcoming, friendly, and great at making drinks.

I ordered 4 iced coffees, but 2 were made hot. I assumed it was a simple mistake — could’ve been on my end or theirs — so I asked if they could remake them as iced. Even if they weren’t able to accommodate that, I would have understood, as long as it was communicated politely. Instead, the attitude I received was rude, particularly from the barista named Angel. I don’t normally call out staff by name, but I’m a regular here — I come every week. I think the team could benefit from better training on customer service and basic courtesy. As a Starbucks Reserve member, I’ve spent a significant amount at this store and have generally enjoyed the experience. But after this interaction, I’m reconsidering whether to keep coming back.

Horrible weather came through the area while at this Starbucks. The lead Tyler did a positively fantastic job following Starbucks protocol to ensure that everyone was safe. Him and his team kept their cool and all patrons both entertained and encouraged while riding out the storm. I highly recommend this location for the quality of their team members!!! Quick on service, quality food, and genuine customer care!

Friendly employees, the lady that made my order was so nice and helpful. I didn’t know I could get me sum pumpkin spice off season, omg that made my morning! I never forget my warm banana nut loaf, so delicious every time.
